Argonne Guest House: Directions and Maps

Directions:

• To Argonne from O'Hare Airport
  • Drive east (toward Chicago) on Interstate 190 to the exit for Interstate 294 south (toward Indiana).
  • Go south on Interstate 294 to the exit for Interstate 55 south (toward St. Louis).
    Note: I-294 is a tollway, so you will need $1.90 in change (there are two tolls at $0.80 and one at $0.30) for the automatic, cash-only lanes.
  • Take I-55 south to the exit for South Cass Avenue.
  • Exit at South Cass Avenue, drive over the overpass, and you will see the sign for Argonne National Laboratory.
  • Follow the signs and turn into the Laboratory entrance on Northgate Road.
• To Argonne from Midway Airport
  • Take Cicero Avenue north to the entrance to Interstate 55 south (toward St. Louis), which will be on your left.
  • Take I-55 south to the exit for South Cass Avenue.
  • Exit at South Cass Avenue, drive over the overpass, and you will see the sign for Argonne National Laboratory.
  • Follow the signs and turn into the Laboratory entrance on Northgate Road.

Unless you have an Argonne or APS User pass, you will need to stop at the Argonne Information Center.

The Argonne Guest House is on Outer Circle Drive near Meridian Road. When you reach Argonne, request further directions from the Argonne Information Center or at the gate. There are signs indicating the route from the gate to the Guest House.
