The Guest House will be closed for the annual shutdown starting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 and re-opening at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Argonne National Laboratory is a controlled-access facility. You will need a visitor’s pass (accompanied by appropriate identification documents) or a valid user badge to enter the Argonne campus. PLEASE NOTE: A reservation at the Argonne Guest House does NOT guarantee your site access!
You must notify your user facility or host of your visit in advance to arrange site access. Your pre-arranged gate pass can be picked up at the Argonne Information Center (AIC) M-F, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm (or at the Guard House during off hours and weekends). If you will be issued a user photo badge, your badge can be made at the AIC daily M-F from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. When you arrive, you will be asked to present your identification documents, and then you will be given your pass or badge. You can then come and go freely during the period for which your pass or badge is valid.
NOTICE: Submission of this form does NOT guarantee a confirmed reservation. You should receive confirmation from the Guest House office within 24 hours (or on Monday for requests submitted on weekends). If you do not receive confirmation, please call (630) 739-6000.
